Jhelum Heritage Stamp

The artwork on this heritage stamp is inspired by the Jhelum River (Vyeth), the river that has flowed through the heart of Kashmir for centuries. More than a river, Jhelum has been the silent witness to the Valley's story- its seasons of joy, its moments of sorrow, its changing skies, and the countless lives that have unfolded along its banks. It has carried boats, prayers, conversations, and memories, quietly preserving the rhythm of a land that has always found its reflection in its waters.

This design honours Jhelum as the lifeline of Kashmir, a river that has connected villages, nurtured communities, and held the echoes of generations. Like the current that never stops flowing, it reminds us that history is not only written in books, but also in the waters that have seen it all. Every bend of the river carries a story, and every ripple reflects a memory of the Valley it calls home.

Measuring 1.9 × 1.4 inches, this collectible heritage stamp is designed for journals, letters, notebooks, laptops, travel cases, and keepsake collections. Inspired by vintage postal art, it carries a timeless tribute to Kashmir's river of memories, allowing a small piece of the Valley's soul to travel wherever you do.
